Bushy’s celebrate 21 years in style at their new home; the Bushy’s TT Village

Bushy’s founder, Martin Brunnschweiler, today announced his plans for a TT village which will play host to the popular brewery’s 21st birthday celebrations, dubbed their ‘coming of age’ party.‘Bushy’s TT Village’ will occupy the Villa Marina Gardens on Loch Promenade Douglas from Saturday 26th May through Friday 8th June.The move from the Bottleneck car park has enabled an increase in capacity from 1,500 to 4,000, and will bring together an additional nine independent Manx businesses.Martin said;“We’ve rebranded as ‘Bushy’s TT Village’ this year to represent what we have curated over the last 20 years; a community of independent local businesses who want to create a unique and quality experience for Islanders and visitors alike.We’re pleased to be offering something outside of the classic, cherished, TT experience.

With such an influx of visitors, it’s a great opportunity for our Island’s independents to come together and showcase the interesting and quality businesses, food and drink we have on offer here on the Isle of Man, and so we’re proud to be leading it”The Village will include two live music stages, celebrating local musical talent; sponsored by motorcycle and classic car insurance brokers Carole Nash and powered by Event Lighting Services (ELS),Martin added;“Over 20 years, we’ve witnessed lots of changes to the TT. We’re extremely proud that Bushy’s has stood the test of time and continues to go from strength to strength, and we look forward to celebrating another 20 years with you in our new home!”Independent food businesses featuring at Bushy’s TT Village include; mobile pizzeria ‘Black Dog Oven’, Douglas based ‘What the Fork’, mobile caterers ‘Jeanie’s Kitchen’ and ‘Quality Kitchen’, Port St Mary’s ‘The Fish House’ and new start up ‘The Train Smokers’ who cook ‘low and slow meats’ from the back of their uniquely bonkers converted train BBQ.This year will also see the return of the hugely popular pop-up fizz bar from Foraging Vintners, who will be stationed within the main Bushy’s Tent. Ramsey based gin distillery ‘Fynoderee’ will also be hosting a pop-up gin bar.New to this year’s event is the ‘Corporate Hospitality’ area, hosted by Finishing Touches and A3 Marquees, offering businesses a hireable private area, complete with dining options and a bar.Also new this year, is ‘Gef’s Big Top’ an exciting new area, situated atop the Villa Marina’s colonnade, hosted by media brand Gef the Mongoose. Gef’s Big Top will play host to a series of unique events and parties across the TT fortnight, with private hire options available.More details on Bushy’s TT Village and live music and events will be released on Gef in the coming weeks, so keep your eyes peeled!
