MannKind 2018 is a not-for-profit festival, taking place on Sunday 15th July from 11am to 9pm at Silly Moos Campsite.Festival founder, Georgie Revill of the Cook Shack in Bride, decided last year it would be fabulous idea to hold a one day festival on the Island purely for those with learning differences and physical disabilities.The festival and it’s ethos are close to Georgie’s heart, as she and husband Mike have a son, Ollie who is 26 and autistic. Their daughter Lydia is 24 and Georgie describes her as the perfect sister.MannKind is set to be a fabulous day out, creating a festival experience in a safe environment for those who would normally struggle with going to a mainstream festival. Attendees can enjoy live music, socialise and dance in a safe and totally non-judgemental setting.A number of local businesses have jumped at the opportunity to assist and join in the festivities, and there’ll be an array of local vendors set up in the field on the day including;
