9th September – End 2 EndWhere: Point of Ayre to Port ErinWhen: 9th September @ 0930

The Bikestyle End2End Mountain Bike Challenge is the Iconic Mountain Biking event on the Isle of Man. Your chance to ride from one end of a country to the other whilst conquering some sizeable peaks along the way.The 75km route of the Isle of Man, Bikestyle End2End Mountain Bike Challenge incorporates 1500 metres of climbing with a thrilling mixture of fast fire roads, sweeping moorland paths, country lanes and forest singletrack. You can no longer enter for this year’s race, but go along and spectate and get ready for next year!Find out more here

The Isle of Man Film Festival, now in its seventh year, promotes and celebrates film, both homegrown and international through its short film competition and various events and screenings across the Island.This years event includes the ever popular Movie Pub Quiz, a screening of the Stanley Kubrick masterpiece 2001: a space odyssey, screen writing and combat workshops and an exclusive preview of Mark Kermode’s new exclusive UK tour sharing his foolhardy dreams of becoming a pop star. Drewry’s, ‘the Jewel in the Isle of Man’s Barbering crown’ are hosting The Great British Barber Bash. With demonstrations from Paul ‘Barbercode’ Skerrit and a chance to work on a model of your choice throughout the day. With the very best attention and support from the expert barbers throughout the haircut; they will be offering advice, tips, tricks and new techniques to build on your expertise.Find out more here

Drewry's15th September – Memory WalkWhere: Peel HarbourWhen: 15th September @ 1000Cost: £5 ticket (100% donated to Alzheimer’s Society)

With all proceeds from ticket sales going directly to the Alzheimer’s Society and all ages and abilities welcome, this event could not be more inclusive. Bring the doggo or the pushchair and enjoy the scenic railway line walk from Peel to St John’s.Find out more here

10th & 17th September – Chrissie Moss Art Course – Pets in PencilWhere: MSPCA Tea RoomsWhen: 10th & 17th September @ 1000 – 1500Cost: £45

For all the creative types out there; local artist Chrissie Moss is hosting a two day art course on ‘How to draw your pet’. Running on the 10th and 17th September 10am-3pm at the MSPCA Tea Rooms at only £45 per person with all equipment provided. Just bring along some good pictures of your pet. 15th & 16th September – Isle of Man Food and Drink FestivalWhere: Villa MarinaWhen: 15th & 16th September

This year Festival regulars will be joined by new exhibitors including Isle of Man Quinoa, Smoo, Gelatory, Hound & Howl and Black Dog Oven, and the celebrity guest will be none other than Adam Henson of BBC1’s Countryfile.Adam Henson’s participation and planned rendezvous with local farmers via the Manx National Farmers’ Union unites both our food and agricultural sectors, reinforcing the farm-to-fork concept while highlighting the Isle of Man as a top foodie destination.Find out more herePhoto credit: Food Festival website

22nd September – IoM Cycle ChallengeWhere: TT CourseWhen: 22nd September @ 0830Cost: 1 lap – £35, 2 laps – £45, 3 laps – £55

Cycle the only sportive on the world-famous 37.7 mile Isle of Man TT Mountain Course! You can ride one, two or three laps and we provide refreshments, marshals, medical and mechanical support and finishers’ medals for everyone who finishes. The Hospice annual Midnight Walk is back with a brand new route and a brand new theme to celebrate their 35 year journey. So don your cape, mask and super power and get walking.
