The Isle of Man without bikes is a bit like Ant without Dec: it just doesn’t feel right. With the TT having been cancelled in 2020 AND 2021, it feels like there is a desperate void that needs filling on the island. It just isn’t the same without hundreds of bikers taking to our roads.

Attempting to fill that massive void, however, is plan.com, who are bringing back Santa’s on a Bike event on Saturday 12th December. It promises to be bigger, better and beardier than ever, with hundreds of Santas parading on their bikes, trikes or mopeds.

As the Grandstand is less like biker heaven and more like Covid HQ this year, Santa on a Bike will be starting at the Sea Terminal and finishing at the Hospice. It’ll be a very festive affair, with the starting line featuring some cheeky special guest appearances, some hot drinks, mince pies and a LOT of festive music- not to mention all the Santas. Once at the Hospice, there will be carols, refreshments and the Hospice Gardens will be completely lit up- perfect for the whole family.

Santa’s on a Bike is all in aid of Rebecca House, a charity that provides respite, palliative and end of life care to children. Last year, the event raised £26,500, and this year, they’re hoping to beat that record!

The Santas will arrive at 10am for an 11am start, and will finish at the Hospice at 1pm.
