Over 250 people responded to the Isle of Man FA’s survey on diversity and discrimination in Manx football.
In February, the FA began an initiative to address the issue of diversity and inclusion in football by surveying the football community in the island.
An FA spokesman said: ‘The board and staff would like to thank all the players, parents, referees, coaches and others who gave their views and especially to those who shared their personal experiences. Thanks also to local player, Furo Davies, and Steve Smithies – National Coach Development Lead (Diversity & Inclusion)- from The FA, for their support and help in formulating this initiative.
‘Over the next few weeks the IOMFA will be analysing the results and putting together an action plan. These plans will be shared, along with the survey results (while maintaining respondents’ anonymity), once this is complete.’
Manx football is currently suspended as a result of the latest lockdown, with the FA stating its intention to complete the season, which can be extended to the end of June if required.
