The Future of the TT

Just in case you missed any of the hilarious posts on Facebook this week about fog on the mountain and rain delays, today should’ve been Senior Race Day.

While there is no racing, no smell of petrol in the air, no helicopters overhead and no bikes lining the pavement along the promenade, there is still a buzz as we look forward to TT22.

Tonight, in a special broadcast, it is the beginning of the end of life without the world’s greatest road races as Chris Cave and guests confirm what’s in store for next year’s TT and the future of the races beyond 2022.

A statement from Switch-On said: ‘You will hear all the news, reaction and analysis from some of the TT’s top names, while the TT’s expanding team of TV presenters will also be dropping in for a chat. Joining Chris live in the studio, meanwhile, will be some of the island’s own racing heroes who – it is fair to say – have been going stir-crazy living next to the island’s most famous 37 miles of tarmac.’

Available to watch on the TT’s Youtube channel page from 7pm, TT Switch-On will go live from 7pm. We’ll also be sharing the link live on Gef so you can watch from the comfort of our Facebook page.
