Martyn Perkins has confirmed he is standing again for the seat of Garff which he has held since 2016.
Mr Perkins moved to the island in 1980 and ran an aerospace precision engineering company until he was elected to Tynwald.
Since being in Keys, Mr Pekins has introduced two Private Members’ Bill, the Human tissue and Organ Donor Bill and also the Bill banning the sale and release of Sky lanterns and release of Helium Balloons.
More recently he put a motion before Tynwald to invite the CPA to send an election observers mission to monitor this Septembers general election. If elected Mr Perkins says his priorities will be the Economy, Health service, Education and Housing.
Mr Perkins joins his colleague Daphne Caine, Manx Labour Party’s Gareth Young and Commissioner Jamie Smith in declaring their intention to contest the constituency.
