Luke Parker, a former town commissioner, is the latest candidate to declare his intention to stand in this year’s General Election, contesting the constancy of Ramsey.
In a statement he said: ‘After much thought and consideration I have decided to run in this years General Election for Ramsey. After serving on the board of Ramsey Commissioners for the past 5 years, I believe I still have more to give and would love the opportunity to represent our town on a National scale. My goals are simple; to help drive positive family values, lifestyle and culture. To support the local business economy and encourage growth and give my continued support to Ramsey. I look forward to speaking with many of you in the coming weeks and sharing my manifesto with you.’
Mr Parker joins Dr Alex Allinson, Lawrie Hooper, Johnathan Kinrade and Leonard Singer in declaring his intention to contest the constituency. The General Election is on September 23, if you’re planning to vote, get registered! And if you’re planning to stand, make sure you let Gef know by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
