Two local authorities will ask voters to go to the polls again in the coming weeks, just four months since the last time LAs held their general election.
Ramsey Town Commissioners and Castletown Town Commissioners are both in need of new members for varying reasons.
Starting in the north, an election in the North Ward is necessary as not enough people came forward in July to fill the board, let alone hold an election.
However, four months on 10 people will contest the by-election on November 25, as the board seeks to fill the three vacant seats.
The nominees are: Adam Robert Beighton, Lamara Louise Craine [Isle of Man Green Party], Janette Ferguson, Grant Richard Hill, Pauline Johns-Garrett, Tracy Suzanne Kinrade, Stella Margaret Moss, Luke Parker, Daniel John Richardson and Edward Wilson.
Polls open at 8am and close at 8pm. The polling station is at the Town Hall, Parliament Square, Ramsey.
Following an incident with a dog, Castletown Commissioners is also looking for a new board member. That election will be held on December 9, with nominations open for the next two weeks. Forms can be obtained from the Town Hall and must be returned to the Town Clerk at the Town Hall by 5pm on November 18.
