Ramsey Town Commissioners have arranged for a pre-election meeting to give residents the chance to meet the people wanting to serve on the local authority.
There are 10 candidates for the three vacant seats on the board. The three seats, which represent the town’s North Ward, remained unfilled after the local authorities elections earlier this summer due to a lack of candidates.
The meeting is being held at the Ree Gorree Building, Bunscoill Rhumsaa, Ramsey from 7pm on Friday, November 19. Voters will then go to polls on November 25.
The nominees are: Adam Robert Beighton, Lamara Louise Craine [Isle of Man Green Party], Janette Ferguson, Grant Richard Hill, Pauline Johns-Garrett, Tracy Suzanne Kinrade, Stella Margaret Moss, Luke Parker, Daniel John Richardson and Edward Wilson.
Polls will open at 8am and close at 8pm on November 25. The polling station is at the Town Hall, Parliament Square, Ramsey.
