Monday on the Mountain
After the weather interfered with the DoI’s plans for essentially maintenance on the Mountain Road last week, the dept will be looking to finish the works this week. On Monday and Tuesday, the dept will shut the Mountain from 9.15am to no later than 4pm. In the event of adverse weather, the DoI may need to use its fallback days of Wednesday and Thursday, but it says it won’t close the road for more than two days.
Access to the Creg Na Baa will be maintained from Hillberry (for Douglas & Onchan) and the Creg Back Road (for Laxey & Onchan).
