If Doctor-Princesses aren’t your thing, there’s also Milkshake! Live bringing all our favourite characters, including Paddington, Noddy and Blue from Blue’s Clues, to the island on the 14th May. 

Last but not least, there’s the adaptation of Roald Dahl’s The Witches. With Roald Dahl being a favourite among children for generations, this will delight all parents and children alike. 

Comedy acts

The comedy line up for the VillaGaiety next year is full of famous faces- all throughout the year. Acts include Rob Beckett (19th February), Gary Delaney (23rd February), Ed Byrne (31st March), Paul Merton (2nd April), Chris Ramsey (14th April), Romesh Ranganathan (5-6th May), Milton Jones (30th May), Jason Manford (22nd-23rd September) and Dara Ó Briain (22nd October). A pretty impressive line up, no?

Musicians

There’s a HUGE variety of music acts playing on island next year. From tribute acts including Bon Giovi (12th February), Killer Queen (25th Feburary) and Buddy Holly (22nd July), to chart toppers including Jack Savoretti (29 March), Supergrass (9th July),James Blunt (15th February) and Craig David presents TS5 (2 June), there’s music to suit a huge variety of tastes. 

Dance

Enjoying Strictly this year? You can watch the island’s very own version Strictly Manx (9th July) raise money for several local charities. 


If ballet is more your pace, the Russian National Ballet will be back on 1-2nd November,  performing The Nutcracker. This is the best way to kick off the festive season.
