Advocates Donate to Children’s Centre

DQ Advocates’ ‘Baby Board’ swapped its office ‘Secret Santa’ and instead bought and donated presents to local charity, The Children’s Centre. Gifts were further boosted by a £500 donation from DQ, meaning a total of more than £800 was raised for the cause.

The company has also donated an additional £500 in support of the Isle of Man Foodbank. Staff went down to Santa’s Grotto at the Strand Shopping Centre in Douglas to hand over the gifts and donation.

DQ Associate, Jessica Cocker, a member of the Baby Board, said: ‘2021 has been a tough year for many and we are delighted to play our part supporting such a fantastic initiative which shows incredible generosity to the children of the Island who, for a variety of reasons, are less fortunate than most.

‘We hope Santa’s Little Helpers has helped make Christmas special for those children who may not otherwise feel the Christmas spirit.’
