Can You Help TT Fans Find Somewhere to Stay?

A Scottish TT fan is appealing for help to find somewhere to stay for him and his dad for this year’s races.

Andrew Goulder, from Fife, told Gef that after a death in the family they used to stay with in Douglas, they have been struggling to find somewhere else.

The father and son duo said they have booked to come from June 3 to June 9. They have tried the Homestay website and Facebook pages but have had no success.

Andrew said: ‘We’ve have been coming from Scotland to the TT for 22 years, unfortunately our usual homestay in Douglas passed away in 2019. We are fully vaccinated, non smokers, respectful, good with animals and happy to pay for the seven nights. Will even do a bit of DIY if needed! Just want to see the races.’

He said that they would prefer a home in the Onchan or Douglas areas and that they only need one bed for Andrew’s dad as he himself is happy to sleep on the floor.

If anyone can help Andrew and his dad, email us at with details for us to pass on to Andrew.

  1. Why would you think that being “fully vaccinated” is a criteria for someone to let you stay? You are just as likely to transmit anything.
