A minute’s silence will be held at football games across the island this coming weekend after the Isle of Man FA announced the death of former men’s football manager Kevin Manning.
A highly respected coach, he managed the men’s island side for 15 years, during which time the team won the Inter-League Cup in 2006 and the Guinness Cup in 2000.
A short statement from the FA said: ‘Everyone at the Isle of Man FA wishes to offer condolences to the family and friends of Kevin Manning, who sadly passed away at the weekend.
‘Kevin was involved in Manx football for many years, and managed the men’s island Representative side for 15 years. A minutes silence will be observed at fixtures this weekend.’
