EasyJet Drops Maks
EasyJet has become the latest airline to announce a relaxation of its mask-wearing policy. The budget airline will remove the requirement for passengers to wear masks from this Sunday on domestic flights within the UK, unless they are flying into or out of Scotland.
For flights overseas, this will depend on where the flight is heading to, for example flights to Denmark, Gibraltar or Iceland, amongst others, will still require masks.
Much Ado About Theatre
The first production by Parodos Theatre Company has secured sponsorship from financial services company Ravenscroft. Much Ado About Nothing will be staged at the King’s Court Theatre (King Bills) between April 7 and 9. The production, which will be directed by David Dawson, features a number of well-known local talent including Peter Wicks as Benedick, Lisa Smith (nee Creighton) as Beatrice and Lorcan O’Mahony as Claudio.
It is fantastic to have Ravenscroft on board to support our production of Much Ado About Nothing. There is a wealth of talent in the acting community on the Island and a clear desire among audiences to enjoy plays, specifically Shakespeare which has been absent from the Island for some time. Whilst demand exists, the costs associated with staging such performances mean it is only possible with the generous support of the local community,’ said Charlie Williams of Parodos Theatre Company.
