In a week where West Didsbury & Chorlton tied up the title, the Ravens host Stockport Town as they seek to end their promotion series on a high ahead of the play-offs.

Last week saw Chris Bass’ side run out 9-0 winners against basement team St Martins as Sean Doyle’s hat trick saw him move closer to the golden boot.

Entering the Elstadio Bernabowl this week is 9th place Stockport Town who, having secured a steady mid-tale finish, have had a spell of poor form this week which has seen them go without a win in their last six. In that time they’ve only found the back of the net five times and shipped 12.

By comparison, the Ravens’ only defeat this calendar year came away at AFC Liverpool as a much changed side lost 2-0 in the (Emanuel) Macron Cup.

We have to go way back to September to find the reverse fixture for this one when, having been 2-1 down at halftime despite a Sean Doyle goal, second half strikes from Sean Quaye and Ste Whitley turned the boat around and saw the Ravens run out 3-2 winners.

With the curtain due to come down on the league next week, Chris Bass will want to see a strong performance whatever team he plays as his players will bid to secure their own places in the playoff squad.

Kick off this week is at 6.30pm, gates open 5.30pm and you can buy tickets etc here.
