Appeal For More Info After Ramsey Assault

Police in the north of the island are appealing for more information in relation to an incident that occurred on Friday March 4.

The police said that during this incident, a 13 year old boy was assaulted by an older male on the playing fields at Bunscoill Rhumsaa in Ramsey.

A post on the said: ‘In connection with the incident, we would now like to speak to 3 males, who are believed to have been in the location at the time of the assault; in the company of a young child.

Those males are described as follows:

Male 1 – Male 1 is described as being a slim, fairly tall male, aged about 18 years old. At the time of the incident, Male 1 had fairly short, dark coloured curly hair; possibly in a mullet style. Male 1 is described as wearing a blue coloured Chelsea FC football shirt, with black coloured shorts.

Male 2 – Male 2 is described as being of medium build, aged about 15/16 years old. At the time of the incident, Male 2 was wearing a white and red coloured A.C. Milan football shirt.

Male 3 – Male 3 is described as being of slim build, aged about 15/16 years old. At the time of the incident, Male 3 was wearing a full black coloured tracksuit.

‘The young child that is believed to have been with the three males is described as being around three years old, wearing a red and blue coloured Superman suit.

‘If you recognise the descriptions provided, or have any information that could assist with the investigation into the assault, we ask that you make contact with staff at your nearest Police office. Any assistance provided is always greatly appreciated.’
