Do do do do do do do do do do do do do-do-do-do, sorry about that, it’s been in my head ever since I started thinking about writing this, alongside Match of the Day and Top Gear (which ended in 2015) there just isn’t a better a theme tune on the Beeb.
Anyway, back to important matters, next Saturday LIVE from the Villa Marina, it is the return of Strictly Manx.
A great night filled with foxtrotting, tangoing and plenty of wine drinking will see money raised for some great charities.
Not only will the couple be raising money for some fantastic causes, the winning pair will also take home the coveted glitterball Strictly Manx 2022 trophy (insert wooing crowd).
All of this is of course made possible by some brilliant volunteers including Paul Moulton, James Turpin and Mary O’Dea.
Check out Paul’s interviews with the dancers here.
So, let’s meet the dancers, in alphabetical order:
Sean Doyle is paired for ‘pro’ Jordan McCormack, with all monies raised going to Hospice Isle of Man. They will be dancing an American Smooth.
Christopher Richardson-Hall is partnered with Ashley Hall and will be performing a Rumba, with monies going to Isle of Play.
Louise Slater and Eoghan Doyle will be performing a Samba, with money going to Isle Listen.
Lee Vorster is partnering up with Bonnie Pepper to perform a Paso Doble, with their funds going towards the King George’s Fund for Sailors.
Karen Wagstaff and Jason Buckley are taking on a Waltz, with money going to Manx Breast Cancer Support.
Gary Williams and Amy Richardson-Hall will be performing a Cha Cha Cha, with money going to Forget Me Not.
There are still a few tickets remaining, so go on, put your best foot forward, buy a ticket, have a great night and support some amazing local charities.
Ah go on then, enjoy this being stuck in your head for a fortnight.
