Isle of Man Creamery says it has almost quadrupled the weight of its cartons that are recycled in a year.
The Creamery said: ‘During the first 6 months of 2022 we have recycled 16,480kg of cartons, a huge increase from 4,720kg in the same period in 2021.’
This has been done through setting up recycling points around the island and offering doorstep recycling through Recyclecollect.im and the Creamery Club for delivery customers.
Port Erin RNLI has thanks Martin Whittaker for a donation of £1,500 that was presented to the crew over the weekend.
The station said: ‘We are very grateful and thank Martin for helping fund our lifesaving work.’
Cycle 360 will be opening its doors from 5pm until late on Friday for Stage I of the Manx International stage race to host a family-friendly party for all the public to enjoy.
Cycle 360 will be hosting the spectators party to watch the electrifying racing, with a live DJ, Mad Jacks axe throwing for entertainment with their event truck, plus there will be vegan, chicken and beef burger options, other food too, and the cafe will be turned into a bar for all to enjoy drinks late into the evening.
The Manx Telecom Stage Race will take place between Friday 22 and Sunday July 24.
