A much-loved Douglas café has been put up for sale after more than six years under the same ownership.

Café Delight, tucked away on the steps at Victory Court off Prospect Hill, has long been a favourite with locals and office workers for its homemade food, freshly baked bread and friendly service.

The current owner is stepping away due to health reasons, creating what’s described as a ‘fully equipped, turnkey opportunity’ for someone new to take over.

As part of the sale, the new owner will get everything from the café’s menu and brand to its website and social media pages, which boast more than 3,700 Facebook followers.

The spot comes with a sandwich bar, upstairs seating and an outdoor area, plus built-in online ordering features ready to be reactivated if desired.

The business is said to be priced for a quick sale, with the current owner offering a handover period – even some training – to help new owners settle in smoothly.
