All Safe After House Fire
All people were accounted for.
Earlier today fire crews from Kirk Michael and Peel were called to a report of a house fire in Kirk Michael.
Upon arrival crews confirmed that all people were accounted for.
Crews entered the smoke logged property and located and extinguished the fire before ventilating the house.
The fire service said: ‘Smoke alarms save lives. Smoke alarms that are properly installed and maintained play a vital role in reducing fire deaths and injuries. If there is a fire in your home, smoke spreads fast and you need smoke alarms to give you time to get out. If you do one thing today, please check your smoke detector.’
Crews remained in attendance for two hours.
