Garfield is to blame for Monday’s bad PR image
RNLI
Being the year the RNLI is celebrating its 200th anniversary, the charity is doing a lot of looking back, but today we’re starting by looking to the future and celebrating Charlie Edwards in completing his training to become a full substantive crew member of Ramsey Lifeboat. That’s 18 months of hard graft, training and commitment all to help keep others safe, brilliant stuff Charlie!

As is that wasn’t enough, we’re also celebrating the fundraising efforts of Seb. He ran 24 miles in December to raise the money for the Ramsey station. He popped down over the weekend to handover the cheque, top effort Seb!

Theatre
It said: ‘We welcome back Geoff Pugh, who plays the Controller, and Lorcan O’Mahony who plays the driver. We have always been keen to support local talent and provide different opportunities for those involved in theatre. In this case, Tony approached us with a play he would love to produce and direct and we were only too happy to assist with using Parodos to achieve this.’
This production is produced as part of MADF – Manx Amateur Drama Federation Easter Festival of Plays and tickets can be purchased now from VillaGaiety
