A Very Comis Christmas! Yes – CHRISTMAS!

I know we haven’t even got Hop-tu-naa out of the way yet BUT prior preparation prevents miserable memories when it comes to Christmas. Yes, I said it, Christmas. We might as well start getting excited about it seeing as summer this year has been akin to standing under Niagara Falls. We all know Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year, but only if you’re organised. Otherwise, it can be incredibly stressful, and you may find yourself feeling like a Christmas cracker; being pulled in different directions, and tense to the point of snapping.

Want to do something epic for New Year’s Eve but haven’t planned anything before November? Everything will be fully booked and/or over-priced and you’ll be left watching ‘Finding Dory’ until 9pm then ringing in the new year fast asleep while the glitzy tux you bought for the occasion resentfully gathers dust in the corner of the room. The Comis Hotel and Golf Resort doesn’t want you to have a stressful Christmas. It wants to give you plenty of opportunities to wear that glitzy tux. And it wants to help you be as prepared as possible so you can have a memorable Christmas and New Year for all the right reasons.

The Comis Hotel & Golf Resort has got loads of things on offer to help you make this Christmas as magical as possible. Need somewhere awesome to throw a festive work do? The Comis has event space for you to put on a party of legendary proportions. Want a mistletoe-laced romantic getaway for two? Why not book an overnight stay and go for a couple’s trip to the spa. Want to avoid standing in massive queues outside in to get into an overcrowded club in town? Try something different and head to the Comis’s champagne & cocktail bar.

In fact, you’re invited to a party night at the Comis on 13 December to get you into the festive spirit with plenty of festive spirits. There’ll be a 3-course carvery, fizz on arrival, Christmas decorations aplenty, and professional Host & DJ Matt Fletcher providing entertainment.

If you’re in the mood for a family get-together but don’t want to cook Christmas dinner or host 27 estranged relatives this year, the Comis has you covered. It has Christmas Eve and Christmas Day offers for you and the family where everything is taken care of; all you would need to do is check in then choose what to indulge in. There’ll be cocktails by the fire, a cosy Christmas Eve buffet, a range of activities including Christmas film nights, winter mini-golf and games, plus, a visit from the big man in red himself. (Santa, if that wasn’t obvious).

On Christmas morning, there’ll be a special Christmas breakfast laid out for you as a warm-up for Christmas Day lunch, where the only finger you’ll have to lift to contribute is lifting a fork to your mouth to eat it. The menu will be caked with local ingredients, so you’ll also be doing your bit for Manx vendors. There will be a cozy Christmas day dinner buffet for you to have your fill of turkey sandwiches Vicar of Dibley style.

Then for New Year’s Eve, the Comis is celebrating in style and you, my friend, are invited. There’ll be a Gala buffet dinner, with a separate children’s buffet, and professional Host & DJ Chris Hedley is back once again to see you into the New Year.

So, get booking then sit back and relax, smug in the knowledge that the Comis Hotel & Golf Resort has everything taken care of for you.
