Manxman Sailings Delayed

Good news for those sailing to and from Heysham today (Wednesday).

This morning’s Manxman sailing and its return this afternoon will go ahead.

However instead of departing for Heysham at 8.45am as planned this morning, the vessel will now leave Douglas at 9.30am.

Passengers on this crossing are now asked to check in no later than 8.45am.

The return sailing, which was originally set to depart Lancashire at 2.15pm, is also ‘slightly delayed’.

While it’s unclear when Manxman will now depart Heysham this afternoon, the Steam Packet say it will provide an update at 9.45am.

The past few days has seen disruption and cancellations of Manxman sailings.

But all Manannan sailings to and from Liverpool have been unaffected, and are once again scheduled to depart on time and as planned today.

In more good news, this evening’s 7.45pm Manxman sailing to Heysham looks set to depart Douglas on time without risk of disruption or cancellation.
