VIDEO: I Toured The New Isle of Man Ferry Terminal – The Toilets Stole The Show

The £70.6 million Isle of Man Ferry Terminal in Liverpool finally opened its doors to passengers at the end of June.

And last weekend, I had the pleasure of using the brand new facility to travel to and from the island.

While I was there, I took the opportunity to snoop around the site and took my phone along for the ride (you can watch my full review in the video above).

To my surprise, the two-story building was a world apart from the old terminal.

Stepping onto the escalator, I felt as though I was really moving up in life and couldn’t help but stare out of the huge glass window and across the Mersey.

That short journey took me to the main body of the building and right to the cafe (yes, a CAFE!) where you can buy food and drink from an actual person instead of arguing with an outdated vending machine.

Over the next 40 minutes I scoured the building (even the toilets) to get a feel for the place.

Overall, it gets a solid 8/10 from me, even if the signs outside are terrible.

You can watch my full video review in the clip above (please do; it took me ages!).
