As the sun slinks into Scorpio season, Island Life’s resident ‘psychic’ Sadie is back – clutching her tarot deck, a half-melted cinnamon candle, and a strong belief that emotional intensity counts as cardio…

When is Scorpio Season? October 22 to November 21.

Who’s most affected? Scorpio, Leo, Taurus and Aquarius. These four fixed signs will be most affected by the season ahead. These four signs are known for their energy to be steady, strong and stubborn, with Scorpio season amplifying these traits.

What should you expect? Honest communication, confrontation and renewal.

Scorpio season illustrates a focus on transformation through providing some pretty intense energy throughout the celestial realm that will inevitably begin to feed through yourself and other earthlings.

The scorpion has asked me to encourage you to confront your inner self over the next month. Unearth your fears and desires, through this it will unlock a deeper aspect in not only your relationship with yourself but with others who may surround you.

Scorpio is a fixed sign, known for their opinionated stance on life and the way in which they assert themselves so effortlessly. No two Scorpio’s are the same, with them being amongst the most individualistic of the twelve zodiacs.

The transformative period that awaits is one that could potentially change the trajectory of ones life forever. Through tuning in and unveiling the hidden depths of your soul you may surprise yourself with the shackles it releases you from.

One important thing to note throughout this season is how it may affect your relationships. Conflict and positivity never usually go hand in hand – however, through unearthing potential sores in relationships, it may actually create space for an abundance of resolution and clarity moving forward. Scorpio’s assertiveness will allow you to tackle problems in a way that perhaps wasn’t as obvious through prior seasons.

However, all is not to be lost during the Scorpio season with the events calendar jammed packed, so have no fear if you don’t catch yourself quizzing every interaction you have with someone and delving deeper into what they really meant when they held the door open for you.

Hop Tuu Naa welcomes normal, paranormal and all things spooky to come together and celebrate. The Isle of Man has an abundance of mythological creatures awaiting in the mist – be careful to travel in two’s and not be lured in by the Mhoddey Dhoo or Buganne.

Shortly after we welcome Bonfire Night, where sparklers will light up the sky.

Throughout this transformative month, remember to trust your intuition and follow your gut. Enjoy the festivities as we enjoy Autumn at its best: cozy, superstitious and wholesome.

(Disclaimer – Psychic Sadie isn’t actually psychic – she’s just very good at sounding mysterious and occasionally guessing right. Please don’t believe everything you read on the internet… especially from someone who chats with ghosts, ghouls, and her houseplants. Take it all with a pinch of salt and a generous scoop of dark humour).
