Very few things in life are certain, even fewer perhaps in football, other than Furo Davies scoring late goals.
But this weekend FC Isle of Man know one thing for certain, they just need to win.
With West Dids crowned champions, despite their loss at the Bowl ;), FC Isle of Man sit second knowing a win, or if both New Mills and Abbey Hey draw, they will keep that second spot, which brings with it a home in the play-offs.
But before we get ahead of ourselves, there is a business to be taken of as Abbey Hulton United enter the Bowl.
With Chris Bass suspended and Ste Whitley jetting off on his stag-do with Sean Doyle, it is a week when Bass Snr will need to shuffle the pack. But with Furo Davies proving with last week’s late winner that he is a man for the occasion, there should still be plenty of goals in the Ravens squad.
The Visitors
As for Abbey Hulton, the Ravens picked up all three points earlier in the season as they ran out 8-3 winners away at Drayton Beaumont Park when Sean Doyle picked up a double hat trick and Luke Murray and Jack McVey adding the icing.
Abbey Hulton are drifting a bit towards the end of the season, safe from relegation, they have only won once in their last six, losing the others and shipped 16 goals in that time. But, as we have seen all season, teams have a tendency to turn up at the Bowl and out-perform their league standing.

The big switch this week is that kickoff is at 3pm not 6.30pm. Gates open at 2pm and tickets are here.

- 3rd (H) plays 4th (A)
Final – 16 April
- Winner of 2nd vs 5th plays Winner of 3rd vs 4th
- (Highest placed team plays at Home)
