Decision by 7am This Time!

After schools stayed shut all day today, despite parents all over unsure all morning, attention now turns to Tuesday morning, when the Government says a decision on reopening schools will be made at 7am.

Given yesterday’s announcement didn’t land until a little after 7.20am, parents everywhere will be hoping the alarm clocks at government are set a little earlier this time… and that we’re told clearly whether it’s a full day of snow fun or not!

Schools and UCM are expected to be open, but conditions on sites will be checked first.

Elsewhere, the airport is likely to be closed again at the start of the day, patient transfers by air are off, roads remain icy in places and some bus services are still restricted.
