Home Office Delays Rollout of Medicinal Cannabis
Issues with the UK Home Office have not yet been fully resolved
The gov has apologise to patients for a further delay to the launch of the cannabis dispensing on island.
A statement from the DHSC said issues with the UK Home Office have not been fully resolved.
It added: ‘The DHSC is working to find a solution to satisfy the Home Office with regards to the movement of CBMP products to the island – as all parties must adhere to duties and declarations under the UN convention.
‘Once this issue is resolved Karson’s Pharmacy will be able to formalise arrangements with UK wholesalers and commence the service.’
