MUA Aware of Top up Issues

Manx Utilities says it is aware of reported issues with the SmaterLiving app.

The issue seems to be preventing people on prepaid meters from topping up their account.

The authority said: ‘Our suppliers confirm there are no issues with the app at present: anyone having issues with topping up but who remain on supply please call us in the morning for assistance, if you are off supply and cannot top up please call us on 687687.’

It further added that it has a policy not to disconnect people between 4.30pm and 8.30am, but it can extend this if the issue with payments persists.
