Sailing Turns Back
The ship had left just after 2pm before turning back.
This afternoon’s Heysham sailing has turned back after a medical emergency on board.
The Manannan had left the Lancashire port just after 2.10pm but returned just after 2.45pm.
The ship’s captain has since told passengers that there has been a ‘medical incident’ on the ship and that an ambulance has been called.
The Coastguard is also in attendance.
