I wanted to promote a platform which recognises the immense talent we have on island, and something which is very closely associated with the majority of our staff, and those we would like to employ.

7. And 140 characters on what you’re looking out for from nominees

I’m looking to identify the brightest talent and the people who may not usually be recognised, but may have already stood out in the different fields within our community. I would like the awards to be a fantastic stepping stone to push them to the next level and be recognised at the highest level.

Nominations are now open for the Island’s first 30 Under 30 initiative. To find out more about the campaign and how you can nominate somebody remarkable under the age of 30, head over here.
