Cocktail Royalty: Kiki Lounge Wins Big at Global Awards
Pop the cork and shake up a martini!
Kiki Lounge on North Quay has officially been crowned Bar of the Year 2024 at the prestigious Spirits Business Awards!
Yep, that’s right – our little Manx gem went head-to-head with some of the biggest names in the cocktail world and absolutely smashed it.
In case you needed more proof that Kiki Lounge is the place to be, this win caps off an epic year for the team.
Back in May, they snagged a shiny 1 PIN rating from The Pinnacle Guide (think Michelin stars for bars), and they’re now up for Sustainable Bar of the Year at the UK Top 50 Cocktail Bars Awards 2025. It’s like the Oscars of drinking, and Kiki is walking the red carpet in style!
Co-founder Drew Fleming is proud as punch. He said: ‘This award is not just for Kiki Lounge – it’s for the Isle of Man.
‘We’ve always been driven by a love for our community, and being able to showcase the incredible talent, creativity, and passion that exists here is what makes this win so special.
‘It’s a reminder that even small islands can make a big impact when you have the right people behind you.’
Oh, and did we mention they’re only just celebrating their first year at North Quay? Talk about making an entrance. Co-founder Jamie Lewis added: ‘Winning Bar of the Year 2024 is a dream come true.
‘This award is a testament to the hard work of our incredible team, the support of our loyal guests, and the community that surrounds us.
‘Representing the Isle of Man on a global stage has been an honour, and we’re so grateful for the opportunity to showcase what makes this island so special.
‘Here’s to the journey so far – and to what’s still to come.’
So, what’s next for Kiki Lounge? World domination, probably.
But for now, they’re just soaking up the glory (and maybe a few celebratory cocktails!).
