Elite Fitness has moved to its new custom-built premises in the Braddan’s Spring Valley Industrial Estate, which its owners say make it the largest gym on the island.

In its new home, Elite Fitness provides 13,000 square foot of purpose-built space for gym-goers over two floors along with five new treatment rooms and a large social space.

Stefan White, one of the co-founders of Elite Fitness, said: ‘We wanted to create a facility for the island on the scale of some of the best gyms found in the UK’s major cities.’

The gym boasts over 100 machines across a dedicated cardio room and separate open plan 6,000 sq ft strength and conditioning area, as well a large functional fitness area with a calisthenics rig, boxing bag and other much-loved equipment.

Members can also take advantage of the gym’s infra-red saunas, a large social area with workstation breakfast bar, relaxing sofas and plenty of tables to sit at and enjoy some pre or post workout treats. There are also five consultation and treatment rooms, where Elite Fitness’s team of 10 independent Personal Trainers offer a range of services from training and rehab, through to nutrition advice, 3D body scans and sports massage.

Kevin Furlong, co-founder of Elite Fitness, added: ‘By bringing everything together we have created a fitness destination that will cater for everyone’s journey, whether you are starting out and just want to lose a bit of weight, rehabbing from injury, building your strength or working on your fitness levels. Most importantly though, we have set out to build on our reputation as the friendliest community of gym-goers on the island.’
