Isle of Gelato Swaps Douglas for Laxey

There’s good news and bad news from Isle of Gelato today.

The bad news? The Douglas shop on Bucks Road is closing. The good news? The team’s packing up the pizza oven and heading for Laxey!

In a Facebook video, the owners thanked their customers, staff and landlord for all the love and support before revealing they’ve bought the former Phoenix takeaway on New Road, right by the tram station.

The new spot is already getting a makeover, with plans to open before Christmas. Expect the same mix of creamy gelato and hand-stretched pizzas, just with a view of Lady Isabella this time!
