Business to Close

Express Fixings and Fittings is to close down, its owner Brett Kitching has announced.

Customers have expressed their sadness at the closure of the business based on Snugborough Trading Estate.

In a video to customers, Brett, a familiar and popular figure in the island’s business and football communities, said: ‘We started off doing videos for the humour side of things, to promote our business, promote our products and they went down very well.

‘This one’s not the greatest, this one is that I never thought I’d be doing, this the one that I’ve dreaded for the last, certainly the last two years, but unfortunately I think it’s the right thing to do.’

He added: ‘We will be closing our doors to Express Fixings and Fittings on July 28 next month. I can’t thank everyone for all the support, it’s been amazing, we’ve had so much good response, people not wanting us to go, not wanting us to leave, but unfortunately it’s been tough, it’s been really really tough, we’ve made sacrifices and unfortunately we can’t make anymore.’
