Andreas Meat Co has praised staff at the meat plant who ensured it was able to fulfil orders.

The meat wholesaler has said it was suspending its website and would be contacting people with orders after it didn’t receive its expected order from Isle of Man Meats.

However, the company said that Dan and Ben from Isle of Man Meats took it upon themselves to contact the company on Saturday morning to see what was needed and then arranged for a delivery of pork and beef.

It said: ’10/10 for taking the initiative and totally appreciate their dedication. They have gone above and beyond our expectations with a strong customer focus. Normal service will resume this week, and that’s down to Dan and Ben. Our superheroes wear white jackets not capes.’
