Pie Co. Will Close This Month
The company’s products will still be available across the island until the end of the month
Morgan’s Pie Co. has stopped taking online orders ahead of its closure at the end of the month.
The news has been met with sadness by customers, with one person commenting they are ‘devastated’.
Lee and Helen Morgan had hoped to sell the business, saying in July they wanted to complete a sale by September or October.
However, as that has failed to materialise, they have moved to close the award-winning business.
They said on FB: ‘We have had to close the online ordering system so we can monitor stock levels over the coming weeks. Our last week in business will be week beginning October 23.’
However, before that date, the pies will still be available in Shoprite Isle of Man, EVF, S&S Motors & Robinson’s Fresh Foods (Cooil Rd & The Terrace). And pies & pasties are also still available at The Shed in Laxey over the coming weeks.
Reacting to the news, one customer said: ‘Devastated that we’re not going to be able to buy your lovely pies anymore! Wishing you every success in whatever you do in the future!’
