Pippa’s Back!

Big news for foodies: MasterChef: The Professionals star and all-around culinary wizard Pippa Lovell is back on the Isle of Man and heading up the kitchen at Laxey Glen.

If you don’t know Pippa, where have you been?

The 31-year-old Leicester-born chef has serious Manx foodie cred, having wowed diners at her game-changing restaurant Versa, where she turned invasive weeds into fine dining (yes, really).

She even impressed Marcus Wareing on MasterChef with her flavours.

After a stint in Sheffield to be closer to her dad and work on new ideas, Pippa’s now bringing her creative magic back to the island.

Laxey Glen is buzzing about its new head chef, saying: ‘Her passion for using local and sustainable produce aligns perfectly with our ethos here at The Laxey Glen, and we couldn’t be more excited to have her leading our kitchen!’

The cafe reopens April 1 with a fresh menu full of Manx produce, seasonal vibes, and Pippa’s signature flair. Bonus: the menu will evolve based on customer feedback, so everyone’s a winner.
