Popular Hospitality Group Expands Into Castletown

One of the island’s top hospitality teams is bringing a new dining experience to Castletown.

The group behind The Sound Café, Bradda Glen, and Aqua Café at the NSC have officially taken over the former Leonardo’s restaurant on Castle Street.

The Italian eatery shut its doors last September, but now it’s getting a new lease of life.

Announcing the move on Facebook, the team posted: ‘We thought we ought to wait till after April Fool’s Day to post this exciting news!

‘We look forward to welcoming you all to our new adventure soon.’

Adrian Christian, one of the masterminds behind the project, has also shared an update to a Castletown Facebook group.

He said they’re on the hunt for a new name, promising that if your suggestion is chosen, you’ll bag an invite to the opening night.

He posted: ‘The plan is to open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, hopefully seven days a week.

‘If we use your suggestion, then we will definitely invite you to join us on opening night!’

Fancy yourself a bit of a food industry pro? They’re also on the lookout for staff, from chefs to baristas and everything in between.

An opening date hasn’t been confirmed just yet.
