Moore’s Smokehouse in Peel is up for sale for £595,000.

The business closed in September having been open since 1882.

Advertised for sale or rent by Black Grace Cowley, the building is described as ‘recently contemporarily decorated’ and includes a ‘modern covered outdoor raised kitchen area with both covered and uncovered seating, a shop and WC’.

The ad says: ‘The main two storey premises comprises of seven smoke houses, three of which are in active use and seasoned with decades of flavour. The wood clad bar area to the ground floor and rear kitchen/food preparation areas. The first-floor houses additional kitchen and store areas.’
