Tesco Advertising for New Roles

Tesco has stepped up its plans for taking control of the island by advertising for new staff.

The supermarket giant bought Shoprite last year and will complete converting all of its existing stores in the coming months.

The company is looking baristas for its planned coffee shop as well as team leaders and managers, as well as a maintenance technician and shift leader for its F&F clothing range.

Tesco is currently refitting the Victoria Road Shoprite store, with it believed to be due to reopen next month.
