The Beginning of the End

Today will see the first two Shoprite stores close their doors for the final time ahead of their transition into Tesco.

The Victoria Road and Castletown stores will shut at 9pm tonight.

While the Douglas store is closed, access to Clear Pharmacy will be maintained.

Castletown’s store is expected to be open next month, followed by Victoria Road in March.

All nine Shoprite stores will reopen as Tesco in the coming months, with four of them planned to open as Express stores (read more expensive).
