Victory Café Is Up For Sale – But What a Ride It’s Been

One of the most recognisable spots on the TT course is looking for new owners, Victory Café at the 31st Milestone is officially up for sale.

The former Cold War radar station-turned-café, perched high above the Snaefell Mountain Road, has become a firm favourite with locals, TT fans, fell runners and tourists alike since it opened in May 2021.

But on Friday, owners Vicky and Benn shared a big update: it’s time to pass the baton.

Posting on Facebook, they wrote: ‘A surprise for some but known to a few … we are selling Victory Cafe! It’s ‘The Quirk Plan’ and 2025 is key.’

Next year marks a string of big family milestones: Vicky’s turning 50, they’ll celebrate 20 years married, their eldest is heading off to Vietnam, the middle child’s starting A-levels, and their youngest begins GCSEs. It’s a year of change, and time for a new chapter.

Their vision began in 2017 when they got the keys to the massive, often cloud-covered building.

Since then, it’s become so much more than a café, there’s been 50,000+ pies, a mini cinema, TT takeovers, weddings, tractor runs, fell running meet-ups, birthday parties, corporate events, merch flying all over the world… even ponies in the café.

‘We created a profitable, fab daytime café with a magical team,’ they said. ‘Our vision is complete, but there is still so much more potential for the café to thrive and grow under new management.’
