Co-op Makes Large Donation to RNLI

Ramsey’s lifeboat station has received a donation of over £17,500 from the Co-op Local Community Fund.

The volunteer service has been one of the local charities featured in the fund this year.

Lifeboat Operations Manager Kevin Christian and Coxswain Mark Kenyon were presented with the cheque by Ramsey Co-op’s Christian Street Manager John Slevin.

Ramsey RNLI said: ‘We were thrilled this evening to be presented with a cheque for £17,756.27. This amazing amount will be used to fund the training of volunteer crew members.
