Hospice’s Day Centre, which provides vital respite care and support, has reopened its doors.
The new day unit set up was opened by CEO John Knight.
Hospice said that its Day Unit, which was closed following COVID is back and ‘better than ever before’.
It added: ‘Our team are showing such great support and passion towards it. The Day Unit has added great vibrancy back to the Hospice building, and it’s great to hear people talking positively about how busy the building feels now.
‘Our team will provide first-class holistic care and support and some respite for family/carers during patients’ time with us. Professionals will deliver interactive workshops to help people positively manage the way ill health impacts on them and their loved ones.’
