Adele Quinn is walking the walk for Cruse Bereavement Support Isle of Man. Adele has been a long-time supporter of the local bereavement charity and has entered this year’s Manx Telecom Parish Walk.
Adele said: “I think the help that Cruse gives is a life-changer for those that access their support so I am pushing myself to raise funds and awareness of a small charity that makes a big difference.”
CEO, Mary Doyle added: “We are very grateful to Adele for all her efforts for us and wish her luck in what is a tough event.”

Boston Multi Family Office is pleased to announce it has completed the acquisition of the fiduciary business from Turnstone (Isle of Man) Limited.
The move will see Roelf Odendaal, the co-founder of Turnstone (Isle of Man), and his fiduciary team and clients join Boston.
It is the third acquisition by Boston since the management buyout in October 2019 by CEO Katherine Ellis and Alex McNee, who has since moved into the role of Group Director – Mergers & Acquisitions, and follows the purchase of IQE Limited in 2020 and Fedelta Trust Limited in early 2023.
Katherine said: ‘We are delighted to acquire the fiduciary business from Turnstone (Isle of Man) Limited. Turnstone is known for its commitment to wealth protection, family succession planning and building strong relationships with clients so its business is an excellent fit for our strategic growth plans.
‘Having Roelf and his professional team on board will ensure continuity for Turnstone’s clients. They will also bring with them a great deal of experience and knowledge that will be valuable to the wider Boston group.’
Roelf Odendaal added: ‘It has always been a passion of ours to help families build and create a legacy that reflects their identity and the values that they hold. We see that same commitment at Boston and I am sure that, by joining forces, our clients will benefit from the combined expertise and enthusiasm of our hardworking and dedicated staff.’
Going Green
Capital International Group has announced that it is now a partner with ESC, the charity which supports the island’s transition to a low-carbon economy.
The Energy & Sustainability Centre Isle of Man (ESC) is an independent, not-for-profit, registered Manx charity which encourages the sharing of ideas and knowledge to promote a secure, reliable and economically viable transition to low-carbon energy.
Nancy Shefford, Sustainability Officer at Capital International Group, said: ‘ESC’s mission, vision and values demonstrate their drive to make the Isle of Man’s economy a more sustainable one. This is a goal we share with ESC, so when the opportunity arose to become an ESC partner, our whole team were very keen to get involved and support the excellent work the charity is doing.
