Join Breast Cancer Now for a Party!
The evening kicks off at 7.45pm
Imagine a party with a truly unique music quiz and you’re doing it to raise money for a fantastic charity.
Well, good news, as Gef’s very good friends at Breast Cancer Now Volunteering in Isle of Man, having organised just that!
Coming to the Manx Fun Farm in Onchan on Friday May 26, is Sounds Familiar. It really is hard to do justice to how epic these guys’ nights are.
The Sounds Familiar team are the GOATs at what they do, disguising a quiz as a party, they’re so big they’ve sold out the Camden Roundhouse and, weirdly, played Glastonbury more times than David Bowie ever did.
A Sounds Familiar quiz contains rounds stuffed full of chart classics, old school anthems, indie bangers, marvellous mash-ups, power ballads, guilty pleasures and over 100 killer tunes from the 60s to the current day, all wrapped up in one epic quiz.
Tickets are £20 per person. Recommended team size between 6 and 8 people. There is a licensed bar on site and food will be available to purchase on the evening. Raffle will also be held.
The event has been supported by headline sponsor JTC Isle of Man, director Christian Kirk said: ‘The team at JTC Isle of Man have been close to people who have lived through breast cancer or sadly lost their lives to it. Both team members and their partners have found Breast Cancer Now very supportive. We are all very grateful to this charity and have participated in several of the fund raising events as a show of our support.’
Breast Cancer Now also asked us to textend a thanks to Peel Paving Limited, which is also supporting the event and The Manx Fun Farm.
You can buy your tickets here and for more info on the charity, go find them on Facebook or just google them!
The evening kicks off at 7.45pm and runs through until 11.45pm.
