Tonight sees the auction of 31 dolphins, which have been on display around the island, all to raise cash for Hospice Isle of Man.

The auction gets underway at 7.30pm at the Villa Marina.

Hosted by Bargain Hunt’s Charles Hanson, the auction will go towards the £5m Hospice needs to continue providing its range of end-of-life and palliative care services.

Hospice Isle of Man CEO Anne Mills said: ‘The auction is our final Big Splash event. It’s not only going to be an opportunity to bid for these beautifully decorated sculptures but also to bid a fond farewell to our magnificent dolphins that have showcased some truly incredible artistic talent, graced the Manx countryside, delighted so many people of all generations throughout the summer and attracted such generous support for the work of Hospice Isle of Man.’

There is no need to register for the event, just feel free to rock up, or if you can’t get down to the Villa, you can bid online here.
